Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.” -We've all messed up. We all make mistakes. Everyone has (except Jesus) and everyone will.
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” -Christ died for you. He died for you just the way you are. You cannot fix all the bad habits you have without His help. And even then we still fight our sin for the rest of our lives. God forgives our mistakes, but we keep makin' 'em. But we don't have to clean up our lives before coming to Jesus. Come to Jesus and He'll help you turn your life around.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -When we disobey God (sin) someone has to pay for it. You do. But the gift of God is that He sent His one and only son down to earth to die for us. The wrath of God was poured upon Him on the cross and He took our punishment for us. He died for us.
Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." -Do you have to do anything to be saved? Do your good actions have to outweigh your bad? No. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart and you will be saved. Ain't that awesome?
Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” -Whoever. Anyone, anywhere, anytime. It doesn't matter to God.

“Father God, I know that I have broken Your laws and my sins have separated me from You. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward You. Please forgive me, a sinner, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that Your son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”
